The Oscillator Volatility Index is designed to assess market conditions. It identifies three states:

The indicator is made as an oscillating histogram with a zero center point.

This indicator informs the market status through different colored histogram bars:

Values ​​below -11.8 indicate a trending market, while values ​​above 11.8 indicate a flat market. Values ​​close to 50 indicate unstable integration.
The lower the oscillation value in the negative zone, the more the trend component is expressed in the market.

This indicator has four configuration parameters:

 CI = 100.0 * log10( SumATR / (Max High - Min Low)) / log10X - 50.0
log10X = log10(period)
ATR = ATR(1)
SumATR - the sum of ATR during the period MaxHigh - the maximum high value within the period MinLow - the minimum low value within the period
