Moving Average with Price Cross Alert - MetaTrader 5 Script | Forex Indicator Download - MT4/MT5 Resource
My goal is to make an indicator that triggers a signal when the market price is below the moving average.
The moving average period length can be defined by the user (default is 200 length). The number of points above and below the MA for price movement to be considered a signal; also defined by the user in the input.
If using shorter timeframes (e.g. 2 minute or 5 minute TF), the number of pips needs to be lower (around 15 - 20) as the price moves fewer pips on these timeframes.
If using a time frame of 1 hour or longer, a number of pips of 80 or higher should be used to smooth the signal.
These signals are essentially based on price movement above or below this line, and the indicator is designed to catch such events as early as possible.
