Do you get the spread quoted by your broker?

Ever wanted to verify spread data statistics from other sources or create your own?

Spread Logger consists of two indicators:

Spread Recorder Write - Creates a CSV file containing spread data over time. This is done in real time.

Propagate Logger Read - Reads the created CSV file, displays some statistics, and plots the collected data into a chart. Additionally, real-time spread data is plotted onto the chart.

Save both files in the Terminal\Experts\Indicators folder

Propagation logger writes:

Attached propagation recorder writes to any chart. ( Insert > Indicators > Customize > Propagate Logger Writes )

Name your file under the Input tab or leave the default file name.

Leave the MT4 terminal running and open the chart for the required time and Spread Logger will collect data in real time.

Note: For the most accurate data, please attach a spread recorder write to a 1-minute chart.

NOTE: All files created by Spread Logger Write are saved to the Terminal\Expert\Files folder.

Propagation recorder reads:

Open the chart propagation recorder for the currency pair that you have recorded data and attached to read and draw the chart. If you use a custom filename, make sure you type the filename correctly.

Note: Although you can attach a propagation recorder read to a chart for any time range, using a chart for the same time range for which you collected the data will visually produce the best results.

Spreading the logger read will show some statistics:

If the time interval for collecting data falls within the range of the currently displayed chart section, you will see the spread data you collected plotted onto the chart. Live spreads will also be displayed from the time the spread recorder read is attached to the chart.
