I like the MA, I prefer the CCI indicator, and I often do momentum trades based on CCI divergence. This metric helps me spot these differences.
General idea: If price diverges from the accelerating moving average, it is safe to take a momentum trade.
General Idea N2: If the moving average follows price, we have a range-bound period. So, use a range strategy or don’t trade.
