Bollinger Bands with Pre-strip Smoothing - MetaTrader 5 Script | Forex Indicator Download - MT4/MT5 Resources

The premise of this Bollinger Bands indicator is that the outer bands can be controlled individually through smoothing. Changing the smoothing period on the upper band need not reflect any changes on the lower band, and changing the smoothing period on the lower band need not reflect any changes on the upper band. The idea is to give you ultimate control over the smooth takeaway.

PRE smoothed BB produces standard deviation on separate MAs (and it is calculated based on the original BB).

When "Additional outer band smoothing" is set to true, it means that the smoothing period will be added to the set Bollinger Band period. When set to false, it uses its own period, independent of the period value of the middle line.

Pre-band smoothing is as simple as adding an extra MA period to the outer band of the Bollinger Bands. This is typical Bollinger Bands, but with added control.
