By combining real-time bid/ask data, execution volume and volume-based delta from NinjaTrader registrations, this volume indicator reveals the entry and exit positions of major market players within specific price ranges.
The main focus of this trading tool is to show the true supply and demand balance behind each candle; balances that are not visible on standard charts and can only be identified through order flow analysis.
Under ranging conditions, digital footprint structures typically form 8 to 10 repeating blocks (depending on the tool), allowing for precise assessment of buying and selling pressure.

Indicators are in an upward trend
IAccording to the Footprint Order Flow Indicator Tutorial Buy and Sell Volume Indicator, buy signals are generated based on the fusion of multiple factors:
- Positive delta occurs in areas where sales peak but prices fail to decline;
- Forming a bullish imbalance where selling volume is at least two to three times greater than buying volume at the same level;
- There is selling absorption at the lower part of the bar, and the price is stable above the trading volume area;
- Confirmed by rising cumulative delta and increasing ATS in subsequent candles;
- Bullish candles are formed with a Max Delta higher than the average of the previous five candles.
In the diagram, this situation is illustrated by the upward red arrow and the positive delta block, indicating seller absorption and buyer control.

Indicators are in a downward trend
In a downtrend, the Footprint Order Flow AI indicator generates sell signals when order flow shows buyer weakness and selling pressure increases:
- Strong negative delta forms near resistance;
- Bearish imbalance, heavy buying volume;
