Symphony/Cobra Hybrid System(Symphonie/Cobra Hybrid System)

There are posts discussing both systems on Forex Factory and other forums on the Internet (search for "Symphonie Trader System" in the forum).

NOTE: I use the 21 EMA instead of the Cobra system's 12 EMA on the H4 and H1 charts, and the Symphonie Matrix Indikator v3.0.1 instead of the Cobra ADX.
As always, you have to fiddle with this system to make it your own.

Don't expect to achieve anything without spending a lot of time trying to understand how the Forex market moves - as this forum points out: the discipline of following your own rules is key.



Edit on September 21, 2016: Stopped using this "hybrid system" a while ago and went back to the pure "Forex Cobra System" (pdf files of this system can be found all over the internet and also on Forex Factory). The Symphony System indicator looks good on historical data due to the redraw... I've always had a weakness for the Cobra system, and the more I realize the dangers of entering trades too early (and then staying on those losing trades for too long!), the more I appreciate Cobra's filtering capabilities. Of course, there is no such thing as a perfect trading system - just because market movements are 80% random (at best because prices can't be manipulated by "big money") - and trading is about not becoming (or remaining) part of the herd (meaning traders who get in and out of trades in large numbers, or worse, get into losing trades that end up wiping out their accounts - there was a time when that was done, and that was done too often :-)
