Candles and trading lines | Foreign exchange EA download - MT4/MT5 resources
Hi outside
my name is john
I want to share how I trade.
I was sick this week and met FF
Then spend a lot of time reading FF.
marvelous. I'm amazed at all the ways people trade.
I learned a lot this week, thank you all.
Well, I've been trading for about 5 years.
I use two systems, one for arbitrage trading and the other one I will share.
With this system, I trade eur.usd on the daily chart about 98% of the time.
- I do look at the weekly and monthly charts, and sometimes the 4-hour chart of EUR.USD.
- I do watch usd.jpn, usd.chf, gbp.usd, usd.cad, aud.usd. eur.jpn.
I have a full time job so I only have about 30 minutes a day to trade (maybe an hour on Sundays)
I usually trade between 4:30-6:00 Eastern Time.
10 minutes of chart time and 20 minutes of market updates.
I usually do 1 to 4 things a week.
i.e. buy, sell or add.
But there were many, many weeks when I did nothing.
I trade with 50% leverage with 3% of my capital.
But I would add 3% to winning trades, up to a maximum of 21%.
I mainly use candlestick patterns (about 20)
I do focus on chart patterns (about 7)
And also use trading lines and strong points.
I do have two moving averages on my chart: 200 EMA and 200 SMA
I use them to see trends and trend strength.
This is an add-on and not really part of the system,
It's more of a part of my arbitrage trading system.
I usually only trade based on trends.
Unless it is a strong move on a strong trading line.
I hope to buy it maybe at 5:00 on Monday,
If I find the right candle.
Below are 2 charts.
The first is the daily and long-term chart of eur.usd.
The second picture is the intraday short-term chart of eur.usd.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
