-25- method (The -25- method) | Foreign exchange EA download- MT4/MT5 resources
Hello everyone. <?xml:namespace prefix = on ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
I'm starting this new thread to demonstrate my system. I have been trading stocks for two years and now started trading currencies. I am always learning and have a lot to learn. I'm posting this so people can test the system, offer advice, and maybe I can help people. This system may provide some ideas. Anyone can modify this system, but please share your modifications. English is not my primary language, so please don't blame me for any mistakes. <o></o>
<o></o>
(I am not responsible for any damages caused by anyone using this system) <o></o>
Okay, let's get started. Here's how it works: <o></o>
Start by setting up the correct chart for the system. Chart GBP/USD on one hour intervals. I wouldn't go for a shorter time frame, that would lead to more contradictions. Personally I only use GBP/USD. However, it can be used for other currencies. I think GBP/USD is the best. <o></o>
Next, plot the 10-period EMA, 25-period EMA, and 50-period EMA. <o></o>
<o></o>
These are the rules: <o></o>
- Go long when EMA10 rises above EMA25 and EMA 50 continuously. <o></o>
- Go short when EMA 10 falls below EMA25 and EMA 50 consecutively. <o></o>
<o></o>
Export now. In order to determine the take profit, we have to do some simple technical analysis manually. <o></o>
If you are long, select the last two tops and look at the maximum move below those tops. <o></o>
If you are short, take the last two bottoms and look at the maximum movement above those bottoms. Now calculate the difference between the maximum move and the trend line. It is then projected to the level where EMA10 crosses EMA25. <o></o>
This part of the system is very similar to the Mouteki rules. Therefore, any credit for this part of the system belongs to Moutekitrader, not me. I have no intention of stealing the system. I use these exit rules because they are critical to the system. <o></o>
<o></o>
This is one possibility of exiting the deal. However, sometimes the goals are not reached. When EMA10 crosses EMA25, always sell your position in the opposite position to your trade. <o></o>
<o></o>
The system doesn't score every point. EMA is a lagging indicator. My aim is to make a good profit, not to exploit every bit. <o></o>
<o></o>
As attachment I have a trading example and a profit chart in pips. The blue line is the profit from selling every time EMA10 crosses EMA25! The pink line is your profit every time you sell using the above rules: at the time of profit prediction, sometimes the EMA 10/25 crosses (if this happens before the prediction target is reached). This shows several things, 1. The system is profitable, 2. Using forecasting techniques is better than just selling when the EMA crosses... The remaining number you see on the chart is the profit expressed in PIP. From March 1 to present, there have been 55 transactions.
Having said so much, I hope everyone can have a good discussion. <o></o>
goodbye!
PS Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures, I will post some better ones soon.
