An effective stop-loss strategy? (An effective stoploss strategy?) - MT4/MT5 Resources
I'm exploring stop loss strategies for an EA in development and was wondering if anyone has come across a really good strategy.
I found additional strategies on another forum, and even though I've been programming for a living for over 40 years, I haven't been able to simplify it to make it run faster (it's really slow because of the way it's coded and makes backtesting unfeasible). However, it does create a very good stop loss.
Maybe this article belongs in the MT4 forum - if so, please forgive me, Mr. Moderator, but I would also like to hear about some stop loss methods that work but may not be coded for MT4.
