Vostok 1 - A new approach (Vostok 1 - A new approach) - MT4/MT5 resources
Oriental 1 system
Hey FF, I've been using a manual system that I found on FF and other forums since June, and while I like a lot of them, they all have their flaws. Vostok 1 aims to close some of these gaps and introduce some "new" concepts to FF. I didn't personally code any inidi's in this system at all, I just put the different inidi's together around a basic concept. Real credit goes to all those who put in the real effort to make this happen. I will update the thanks section soon.
The purpose of Vostok 1 is to find trend reversal points so that we can enter as quickly as possible, while maintaining a tight stop loss and a clear expected target price and holding time for each scenario.
1. Download the zip file. Put indis in its place and put the template file in its place too.
2. Open your favorite pair m5 and load Vostok 1.tpl
Vostok 1 is not about strict rules, but rather perfecting your "sixth sense" and managing your trades with the best possible information. That being said, one of the hard rules is, don't trade bombs . Don't go short the green bomb or long the red bomb. If you do this, the consequences for your equity are not metaphorical.
Another thing to consider before anything else is that you have to reload ZUP if a new high or low of the last 40 bars is hit . This will be very obvious.
NMR notes (two parallel gray lines at the bottom): When the upper and lower NMR bounds break through the 3.77 level, it means that the likelihood of our model holding up starts to decrease . At 15+, these models are essentially worthless due to higher volatility. Think of it as a measure of efficiency for Andrews' Pitchfork, Little Lies, etc... If this happens, don't try to place a trade no matter what position you're in. This can be good if you are on the right side, but can be disastrous if not... Also note that I have optimized the setup for EUR/USD, so this setup may be different for other pairs.
Vostok 1 has several main entry points (listed in order of importance). Typically you will see many combinations of these and I would say you need at least 2-3 of them to trade. SN will be launched in the near future... (please submit too...)
1. Bounce off 144 EMA
2. Fiber pivot.
3. Upper/lower boundaries of Andrews Pitchfork
4. RSI/NMR Crossover
5. Bounce from lower/upper VTS. Green/red dashed line.
6. Green/Red Bomb. Green is long, red is short. You may want to wait for price to hit another entry point before entering.
7. Harmonic mode. Usually m5 is quite weak, but don't trade with it.
TP and SL
I usually exit at the ISL/fib arc intersection portion, or wait for the opposite signal based on volatility. Entrances and exits are always advised to never "fly blind" . If you have absolutely no idea where price action is going to go, you should exit.
For SL, please use LWL/UWL (Lower/Upper Warning Line) as you see fit. You know, the more of these lines you get, the less reliable the model becomes.
Updated to 1.1
Use ZUP83 instead of 82
Zup information should now work, Harmonics/Gartley is now more reliable
Please adjust your graph or things will look weird...
Legal Warning: Neither I, FF nor anyone else on the forum is responsible for your gains or losses. Anything less than 3 months for testing shows a complete lack of accountability...don't be stupid, test first
