Phantom 6 System | Foreign Exchange EA Download- MT4/MT5 Resources

I noticed a few posts expressing the difficulty of understanding the system.

As a preface, I should explain what “ghost trading” is. Virtual trading is a transaction that is opened virtually by EA. To open a virtual trade, a snapshot of the bid and ask prices is taken and stored in your computer's memory. Every time the chart changes, the real-time bid and ask prices are compared with the stored bid and ask prices to measure profit/loss on virtual trades.

I hope this helps.

The system is based on the work of Basket14 threads.

The first strategy presented here is the same one reflected in the EA named Phantom_AddSix_03 in the Basket14 thread.

This is a simple strategy.

These are the currency pairs we trade:

Group 1, Phantom Purchase
1. GBP/USD
2. USD/CHF
3. Euro Japanese Yen

Group 2, Phantom Sales
4.GBPCHF
5. Swiss franc Japanese yen
6.EUR CHF

These currency pairs constitute a comprehensive hedge. A buy pair is one side of the hedge and a sell pair is the other side of the hedge.

Initially, the EA dummy buys the dummy buy pair and dummy sells the dummy sell pair.

Every hour at 0 minutes, the EA adds real trades for the virtual currency pair that wins the most among the six pairs.

Track and trade only 6 currency pairs with EA Phantom6_01.

All EAs here solve the Lotstep problem. The screen comments should be easier to read than most of the comments in the Basket 14 thread, and they contain more information.

When I started this article, I wanted to say that these are comprehensive systems whose greatest value lies in carefully distilling a simple yet highly effective tactical framework for spot FX trading. The fact that tactical frameworks (or strategies as you prefer) are encapsulated in software that we call "Expert Advisors" simply reflects the fact that we live in the 21st century and should automate things that can be automated. As a software professional, I don't think of this as artificial intelligence, but as an expert system. The wisdom lies in thinking independent of software building and uncovering trading strategies that are simple enough, comprehensive enough, and effective enough to be implemented as software for profitable trading.

Now it's EA.

Version 01 does not periodically reset the virtual transaction; its transaction behavior should be the same as Phantom_AddSix_03 in the Basket14 thread.

Version 01a periodically resets virtual transactions. There is no EA exactly like this on the Basket14 thread. Version 03a of the Phantom_AddSix series limits the number of transactions to once per hour. Version 03b also limits the number of transactions to 1 per hour and adds an 8-hour phantom reset feature. However, 01a here does not limit trades to one per hour - note that it is possible to see more than one pair become the biggest virtual winner in 0 minutes.

Version 01x is exactly the same as version 01a, but trades are only added if all previous trades on that currency pair were winners.

Phantom_AddSix_02a is very similar to Phantom6_01a, but it requires us to be able to differentiate between 14 virtual currency pairs for each of the 6 currency pairs we actually trade. These 14 currency pairs represent pure synthetic hedges, while 6 currency pairs also represent pure synthetic hedges, albeit a subset of the 14 currency pairs. The result so far is a smooth upward equity line with good margin retention. The copy I uploaded here has a MaxMarginToUse default value of 0.3 and a ProfitPct default value of 0.25.

Read this article http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...64#post6947364 to see the differences in pruning standards in version 02a.

Version 03: When the virtual trade becomes all winners or all losers within the specified group, and the loss of the largest losing trade is at least half of the maximum winning margin, close the maximum losing trade (like 02a), add a trade to the virtual pair with the largest win among the six pairs, and add a trade to the virtual currency pair with the largest loss in the opposite direction of the virtual currency pair .

Version 03a: Same as 03, but only allows trading on this currency pair if no trade exists for that currency pair yet.

Version 04: Same as 03a, but the Biggest Loser trades in the opposite direction.
