4x25MA Simple Strategy - MT4/MT5 Resources
Honey,
I have a simple trading strategy in mind. I conducted a prospective test and the results were mixed, mainly regarding benefits.
Only trade during high-volatility trading sessions that begin after the London market opens. It is best not to enter a position after the New York market closes.
This is my strategy:
I trade based on the 4 hour chart. I only use ATR(14) and 25EMA to read the trend direction. Trade trends only.
So:
I look at 15 minute, 1H, 4H, 1D charts. If prices are all above the 25EMA and there are closing bars (1-3), I will open a long position.
Stop Loss: 2xATR
Take Profit: 3-4xATR
Shorts are made the other way around.
We may be lucky enough to be programmed as an EA.
