PIPology daily strategy (PIPologist daily strategy) - MT4/MT5 resources
Hello,
I want to share my strategy with you all. This will net you 10 points/day.
The strategy is very simple: 2 EMAs, one for closing and one for opening.
The signal is triggered by MACD.
Confirmation from Will%R, breaking TL or RegChan
I started this strategy by sharing it on Babypips and now I think more people should know about it.
I'll summarize what I posted there in relation to this strategy:
----------------------------------
The system is very simple, filtering by other indicators, as follows:
- Time range: 30M
- 8 EMA (applied to closing) and 13 EMA (applied to opening)
- Trend lines and regression channels help spot intraday breakouts Filter:
- 8 %R (visible at -80 and -20 levels) over 13 RSI (for opening)
- MACD (13, 21, 8)
Signal:
1. EMA crossover
2. MACD is above or below 0 level
3. Spot trendline or regression channel breakouts
Admission rules:
- Always at the end of the candle.
- For long: the candle must be above 2 EMA (for short: below)
- The entry candle must break above/below the trend line or regression channel.
- %R must be below -20 for longs and above -80 for shorts
- Entry points must be placed on a maximum of 4 MACD bars since MACD moves up or down.
I'm attaching screenshots for understanding. Signs like this happen every day.

----------------------------------
If you ever opened a position hoping that the currency pair would fall back into your favor, you were wrong! The big guys understand trader psychology, most people think this way, that's why it goes against trader psychology. Eat your stop loss or get as much money as possible from your balance
----------------------------------
Stop loss:
- Stop loss @ 10 pips (+ your broker's spread), above the high of the entry candle (short) and below the low of the entry candle (long). I never risk more than 10 pips (above that high - try not to risk more than 20 pips).
----------------------------------
This post will be very active as I will be posting about things I do every day as I do them. More information about past transactions can also be found on my website/blog (updated at the same time as the forum).
Thank you and happy Pippin
PS: Thanks (admin/mod) for changing my post title, it's much better now.
