The SETUP and the Chuvashova Fork
WAB. Setup and Chuvashova fork.
Please read the entire topic.
No one likes to stop and explain things over and over again to a new person who hasn’t finished their homework yet. If you refer to the first article, read the entire article. It's really annoying when someone jumps into a discussion when they don't know what's being discussed. due diligence. Read the topic. Bring some education into the discussion. Bringing a knife to a gunfight won't give you any points.
I'm interested in discussing how to use Chuvashova's fork (hereinafter referred to as CF.) and its relationship to the HH HL LL LH chart structure principle and what I call SETUP.
You can find information about CF at: https://www.mql5.com/en/articles/1352. There is a link to Stanislav Chuvashov's webpage there, but it is in Russian and we need a translator to help us with this. There is also a link to 17 lessons further down the page, also in Russian. Hopefully a translator will come along and be kind to us.
At the same time, I believe we can form a good team here and figure everything out ourselves.
CF is similar to the BW series I mentioned in the FF Animal Farm thread for those interested, as discussed there. My interest in CF stems from my interest in specific aspects of the brick system. (We will use standard charts and Renko charts here.)
Therefore, I would like to discuss and develop a trading strategy using CF and chart price structures.
Some basic threading rules:
1. Be polite.
2. Don’t add various indicators. (The focus here is price, not a million different pet tildes.)
I will be using the standard Bill Williams AO, AC, Alligator and Fractals, they are an integral part of the system and should not be changed or modified.
EA development:
Anyone who wants to develop an ea for this, please do so on a separate thread. I don't want this to lose focus.
(The /1352web page link above has the code for EA. I checked this a few years ago but I think there was an issue with the code because with all the upgrades MT4 went through, I remember it not being too happy with me at the time. Feel free to look up the EA info, but please do any development on a separate thread. I hope this is on topic and not spent tweaking the code. Thanks.)
CF indicator:
I found several CF indicators. They all seem to do the same thing, with one exception, which is adding entry levels and stops.
Later I will use an indicator on my charts and suggest that we either try to confirm its use or find reasons to reject its use and choose something better or even not use the CF Auto indicator at all.
Before we discuss the indicators of CF, I would like to explain the idea of CF. Having an indicator without understanding it is almost useless.
Let's have fun, see what we can learn, and see if we can make some money.
Any indicators I use will be attached to the first post.
