Flexi Grid Trap EA (Flexi Grid Trap EA) | Grid EA download - MT4/MT5 resources
Hi!
I have an EA here that is a hybrid of a grid system. The idea behind this thread is to look at death sequences and see if there's a way to eliminate as much lag as possible.
Can Death Sequence be defeated? - Yes is it possible for us to defeat it? - No. Anyway, are we going to try it? - Yes!
The basic idea behind EA is as follows:
On startup - the EA places a line on the chart. A move in any direction beyond the "Step" point creates a trade in the same direction and moves the starting line to the current entry point. Moving "one step" further in the same direction opens another trade in the same direction.
A trade that is the opposite of the previous trade will wait for the "One Step + More Steps" point before placing a trade that is the opposite of the first trade.
As more trades are opened - after each set of "multi-frequency" trades, a factor is applied to the lot size
Once all open trades have accumulated a "target percentage" of profit, all trades will be closed and the cycle begins again.
There are many things we can look at:

There are many things we can look at:
- Ways to identify death sequences before they occur and stop the EA with acceptable losses
- A way to take profits regularly so we don't have to worry about death sequences
- Use alternative strategies to recover from death sequences.
I have no intention of using this EA on a real account, but rather as a challenge to overcome the death sequence. At this stage I won't share the source code as I don't want to try and manage multiple versions running.
Attached are my best results so far, please share your thoughts and suggestions on the system!
Thanks
Vlad
