The Art of Trading with MTF Stochastics
Hello traders!
When Spudfyre generously invested his time in developing his original leads on the Multi Time Frame (MTF) Stochastic indicator, I stuck with it while he guided each of us through the specific details of his approach. There is no doubt that with experience, the MTF Stochastic can become a great trading method. Spud was a great teacher and mentor, but sadly he has disappeared from the scene. Hopefully he will come back one day, but until he does, I want to continue learning as much as I can. And, believe me, I still have a lot to learn.

So, I decided to start this brand new thread dedicated to the art of trading with the MTF stochastic indicator . The specific purpose of this topic is to help us learn not only the basics of the MTF stochastic method, but also the more subtle nuances so that we can all become better, more efficient, and more successful traders.
I would like to keep more of a "pure" team and not crowd our screens with endless autopilot and mechanical indicators (besides, of course, the more common basic pivot points, Fibonacci, S&R lines, and maybe some moving averages) so that we can focus on seriously honing our trading skills and learning how to effectively utilize and/or integrate the MTF stochastic indicator (if not the only one) in order to add more pips to our daily diet.
Let's share our MTFS trades, explaining what worked for us (or didn't!), how we set up the charts, how to determine the correct settings, what to look for, and more. I want to clarify that I am not a long-term Forex trader and I am definitely not an expert. I'm just really interested in this approach and I want to improve my skills as much as possible while sharing my experience with others.
I invite everyone to feel free to ask questions and contribute your knowledge.
Thanks!
