Off-road system.
This post is in principle aimed at day traders and aims to cover most market conditions , if possible.
The idea for this trail came from those days when the market seemed to be wandering and we didn't know what to do with it.
This means that the system was created to address uncertain markets, but also to serve clear markets. Hence the name off-road system.
In an attempt to systematize intraday market conditions, we will use a set of tools.
Where will the M5-M1 timeframe work. The time frame is higher, go see the forest.
Exponential Moving Average (EMA 233), (SMMA 150, also works well)
Bollinger Bands 50 periods.
A Momentum indicator , which one do you prefer. For example, AWESOME, RSI or Stochastic. Traders always decide what is best.
Volume (optional as this depends on the broker)
A guide (or trend line ) to the waves that accompany the trading process.
All this, plus general knowledge of markets, news, sessions, support and resistance, patterns, waves, price action, etc…
Generally speaking, greater moment liquidity and volatility should be preferred for trading. Probably almost always the London session, but sometimes we can find good moves during the Asian session. This is the job of deciding on liquidity traders and ranking them to get ideas. We'll see some examples.
The basic template is as follows.
The position and slope of the moving average give us an initial idea of market conditions .
The sample trends are clear . EMA233 and SMA50 have clear slopes, and the slow moving averages lie outside the Bollinger Bands.
Example Flat trend . The moving averages are almost flat and EMA233 has entered the Bollinger Bands.
Example Uncertain trends . EMA233 loses tilt and penetrates Bollinger Bands. SMA 50 changes direction frequently. The picture below is a complex waveform.
More market conditions may be variations of these three scenarios, and we will see as they arise.
The slow moving average and simple moving average of Bollinger Bands are used to judge market conditions at a glance.
Bollinger Bands, their bands, entering the infinite market, are the areas we are more concerned about.
Momentum indicator or oscillator, we will prevent the end of the wave to a given extent. They give us another perspective on price action.
Volumes give an idea of liquidity, and their changes warn us that something is happening (e.g. volume stops, confirmed breaks, confirmed reversals).
These guidelines can help us work with oscillators to change the wave direction for a given level. They are very important and we must practice to use them successfully.
Don’t forget to look at the bigger picture and analyze multiple time frames.
A completely flat situation or a complete trend will be viewed as such through price action and with the help of the same template. Trends, will learn to identify candlestick patterns or chartists identify ends.
Here is an example of an undefined market and how to approach it using bands, guides, oscillators and candlestick patterns.
General rules.-
System rules are affected by market conditions at any given time. Currently, general guidance is given for each market condition. Follow the clues and, if necessary, go into more specific formulas.
Use oscillators, trendlines, candlestick patterns, or wave patterns to look for trend reversal inputs within Bollinger Bands or around the 50 moving average, or reversals in the opposite direction of the trend within Bollinger Bands if the correction is large.
Sideways market. Look for reversals outside the Bollinger Bands using any tool at our disposal (oscillators, trend lines, candlestick patterns or waves).
Undefined market. We will treat this as a trading range (sideways market), but be extremely careful.
The three market conditions described here always depend on the big picture and overall advance planning.
The stop loss is discretionary based on market fluctuations and the overall picture, but must always be used.
We will see examples of this emerge.
For Oral Rehydration Salts ( Off-Road System ), the best trade execution is as follows, establishing prior market conditions :
To go against the trend ; to go against the trend of the same level.
;Retracement within Bollinger Bands (best). Clear interrupt is valid.
Sideways trends and trends are unlimited ; trade from Bollinger Bands.
All, to the same extent as waves.
PS: Any help with the language would be greatly appreciated, please change any words or phrases if necessary.
