Everyone is welcome.
I had considered the idea of releasing this system and realized it came with a lot of expectations, not to mention time-consuming. But anyway, I'm going to take the plunge and hope some people benefit from it.
This is one of three systems I trade, but it is also my primary system and takes up most of my time.
This system is based on the sound trading principles of the popular triangle chart pattern, a twist that most traders are familiar with because although it is good on its own, it does not give good enough results on its own.
If you understand the basics of trading, this is an easy-to-learn system and perfect for newbies.
This is a system that's been proven for a long time, so don't try to change it on this thread or you'll just break it.
As I said, it is based on ascending and descending triangles, but has some very important rules attached that make it one of the most powerful trading strategies you will ever come across.
But it does require some patience, and if you're looking for a plan that allows you to make 10 trades a day, you're better off looking elsewhere.
The system will generate 3 to 8 trades per week based on monitoring only 4 currency pairs. I trade the Japanese Yen pair, but it will work on any pair with low spreads.
I say low spreads because we will be using a constant 5 pip stop loss.
The triangle pattern is a continuation pattern in a trending market, the goal is to enter the market at exactly the right time when the market breaks out of the triangle, using this system it works about 50% of the time with a risk/reward of 4 pips and a profit of 20 pips.
The trick to system success and reducing false outs is to be very specific to the trades you are taking, but it shouldn't take you long to learn as I will be posting as many chart examples as possible with good and bad examples of trade setups so you know what to look for.
The advantage of this system, unlike other systems, is that you are notified of some upcoming transactions, so subscribers to the thread can notify each other of upcoming transactions, rather than publishing the transaction after it has occurred.
I wouldn't offer a trade posting service to people who are too lazy to put in the effort and learn the system, once you learn it, it won't be long before everyone can contribute the setup patterns they see developed on your favorite pairs so everyone can benefit. It's a simple trade on a bare chart, you won't find any nifty indicators here, that's how trading should be.
I will release the specific details of the system later and hope you can get involved. ……………Continued from post No. 21.
EDIT: Attached quick scalp version
I decided to add this method to the standard version for traders who are pressed for time or just want to take more action while waiting for the main setup to appear.
Like most scalping trades, its R/R rating is not large at only 1 to 1, unlike standard trades. Versions 1 to 4, but with practice, most people should find it very profitable.
It does have some limitations to provide the best chance of entry like the standard version, and you may need to adjust some aspects to suit your style.
right;
We will limit the currency pairs to Japanese Yen pairs U/Y, E/Y, A/Y, G/Y as they tend to move the fastest.
trading hours;
EUR and New York morning trading only.
risk;
2% risk/stop loss and 2% take profit. So 5 points s/l and 5 points t/p.
Because of the type of entry we are looking for {read the standard version first to understand}, once our order is triggered the price bounces back and usually reaches 5 pips very quickly. However, you still have to be patient and get a good setup, a sloppy setup will perform poorly. If you're selective, you should easily find 2-4 settings per workout that will satisfy most people. Don't overtrade! ! ! ! ! ! !
Entries:
Once you find a suitable entry point, set your buy stop at the top plus your spread {max 1.5} plus 0.2 pips. Your T/P is 5 points higher than this.
Example top point is 138.32 + .9 spread +.2 = entry price of 139.42.
For sale we only advertise 0.2 as pip value.
Stop loss is set simultaneously with buy/sell orders.
trade management;
It's up to you, but once your trade is close to t/p, bring s/l to B/E.
Do a demo trade first to get a feel for it and adjust if necessary to suit yourself.
By the way, if your price goes directly over your 5 pips soon and you don't have a T/P, raise your s/l to 5 pips to lock in profit and see how much extra profit you can make.
Keep in mind that if you choose to use this method you may have a hard time trading in the standard system as you will always be tempted to close your positions at 5 pips instead of letting them run. Alternatively, you can use it on days when the market is range-bound and you can't find standard entries.
Good deal. If you have any questions, just ask.
