Dax40 EA is a powerful and exciting MT4 Index EA for trading the DE40 (aka DAX40/GER40) Index . It works based on a proprietary indicator called Angel Factor/Period (you can see this in the input). Dax40 is a very low cost instrument to trade with most brokers quoting spreads of 0.5 – 1.0 pips with little/no commission.

It operates by monitoring the movement and volatility of the DAX40 during market hours; once it detects a strong move, it will seize the momentum and trade on the next bar open. The EA trades during the Dax market opening period from 9 am to 8 pm Frankfurt time.

It does not use dangerous trading methods such as martingales, grids , etc. Only opens 2-7 trades per week and cannot maintain trades long-term . It uses hard stops and take profits of 40 - 50 pips . Indices use pips, not points; at most brokers, 1 lot is used, with 1 pip equaling $1.

This Index Trading EA uses the recovery function. The EA will increase the lot size of the next trade by x2 after a loss, up to 5 levels (this is different from the martingale). However, you can disable this feature via the input parameter ( increase batches after loss = false ).

The recovery factor after loss of use is very different from martingale. Don't confuse the two, this table compares the huge differences.

This Dax40 EA can trade using fixed lot sizes, or it can use automatic lots and automatically increase the trade size based on specified criteria. This EA has a low maximum withdrawal percentage, thus allowing small deposits to be made using this advisor.
