The idea of this indicator is the same as synthetic RSI:
Additionally, prices are pre-filtered before being used in RSI calculations. If you want to omit this part, just set all EMA periods to less than or equal to 1.
The reason for the difference (with Synthetic RSI ) is that this version uses the Ehlers Smoothed RSI in the calculation, rather than using the "regular" RSI, which makes the resulting synthetic RSI much smoother.
