The Lentz volatility indicator shows the difference between the average ATR and the ATR for a specified number of periods.

The indicator has three input parameters:

 LV = Average Moving Average – ATR
AvgMA = MA(ATR, smoothing period, smoothing method)
ATR - ATR (ATR period)
