TMA ATR channel cross (TMA ATR channel cross) - MT4/MT5 resources
Hello everyone,
Editorial updated with latest information and compilation of all latest indicators (August 17, 2023)
I opened this thread for feedback (more discussion) Recently I used the TMA ATR channel indicator and after so many tests/setups I found 1 setup that gives early entry signals. I only use this setup on the M15 timeframe.
Part 1 Rules
1. Time range = m15
2. Early signal when line intersection or line contact occurs between 2 TMA ATR channel lines
3. If trending down - look for bottom crossovers for early buy signals (price must hit or near bottom line)
3. If uptrend - look at the upper cross for an early sell signal (price must be touching or close to the upper line)
4. The crossover point is not an entry point, but a signal that the trend is about to end (a new low or new high will be formed)
Indicator settings
1. TMA ATR channel number 1 = time frame = 15, TMA period = 10. ATR period=25. The rest are default. For the color attribute, only rows 7 and 8 are used (no other options)
2. TMA ATR channel number 2 = time range = 30 minutes, TMA period = 30. ATR period=25. The rest are default. For the color attribute, only rows 7 and 8 are used (no other options)
Part 2 Filtering RSI (Entry and Re-Entry)
1st RSI=150 - Bullish trend 2nd RSI=50 - Medium trend 3rd RSI=25 - This setup is used to identify the re-entry point after the intersection has occurred Re-entry = follow the trend Problem: Before reaching the reversal point, it can be a bit confusing to identify whether it is a reversal or a retracement (see image below)

Thanks to BlueRain for an excellent indicator, the BR Dual TMA Spanning Status Scanner, capable of monitoring 24 pairs (including metal)
