MTS “VEGAS” represents a trading system based on Vegas Tunnel Method.

The method uses a slow EMA (introduced by Vegas). Period of the EMA can be set in the Expert Advisor’s settings.

Entry conditions: Two levels – (+) and (-) – will be added on the chart in addition to the EMA. They can also be changed in the settings. The levels are used to build a channel (tunnel) of the fixed width. The EMA acts as a middle line of the channel. The Expert Advisor will open trades upon a breakout of the tunnel’s boundaries.

Sell trades are opened, when the price crosses the level downwards. Buy trades are opened, when the price crosses the level upwards.

STOP-LOSSES of all orders will be set at the opposite boundaries of the channel (tunnel).

TAKE-PROFIT will be set at the Fibonacci levels. Three, four or five levels (depending on the volatility of the currency pair) will be added to the initial EMA: +/- 55 points, +/- 89 points, +/- 144 points, +/- 233 points, and +/- 377 points. You can change the number of orders and their take-profit levels from 1 to 5 and the distance between the EMA and the levels (i.e. you can change the numbers of 55, 89, 144, 233 and 377 in the Expert Advisor’s settings). It assists in optimization of the number of the levels and their remoteness from the EMA, when backtesting using a Strategy Tester.

FILTERS. It has filters, which are responsible for its operation time (for example, they disallow trading on Friday or during Asian flat market).

Moving a stop-loss to breakeven. If necessary, you can enable the function of moving a stop-loss to breakeven, when a predetermined level of profit in points is hit.

Trailing. The Expert Advisor allows you setting any trailing stop.

Visualization. The Expert Advisor will draw lines of orders, when it opens or closes them, on chart (just like in Visualization mode, while testing in a Strategy Tester) so that you can clearly see all the trades made by the Expert Advisor.

The Expert Advisor will work on the timeframe, on which it is running at the time.
