The CCI indicator is made into candles.
Four different CCIs are calculated:
These 4 values are then combined into a CCI "candle" display. It can be used like a normal CCI (using some important levels), or you can check when the candle crosses the zero line to check for trend change signals.
Use price smoothing to smooth the CCI values. Anyway, if you wish to turn off price smoothing, just set the smoothing period to less than or equal to 1.
For smoothing, you can use one of 4 basic types of averages: SMA, EMA, SMMA or LWMA. Regardless of the smoothing type, this version of CCI still uses SMA (which is a common method for calculating the mean deviation when calculating CCI).
