Attachment update: Two contributors donated their time and expertise to help solve this problem by further simplifying the system. BARBOSA added a filter for LESSOSIGNALLINE on post 87, and EASY RYDER on post 121 created a new indi worth a look called LessoSignals... Both are worth a look and I'm trying both. Thank you both, I and I'm sure others appreciate your help.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share a system that I have been trading for a while. I'm sharing for two reasons, so newbies can use a simple system and really make money from it, but also to see where the lovely people at FF can improve it. Reading Improvements: It's not about complicating things, adding a bunch of indicators, completely confusing everyone, etc ... In fact, I don't usually use many indicators in my daily trading, but I found after playing with it for a while that this system has its advantages. With clearly defined entries, stops, money management, and risk management, I think any disciplined novice can trade this way and make a profit. But we'll see, won't we?
Now to the system...since this is part of the thread, the operators tell you who they are and how long they have been trading, blah blah blah, no one cares.
Entries :
These are great tips for buying and...
1. The zero-lag MACD usually crosses first, which is an early warning.
2.VQ usually changes color next, which is what we are prepared for.
3. Price crossed and closed on the other side of the 20EMA... This is the GO...
A.The candle in question then becomes our starting point...nothing has been entered yet.
B. We use a limit order with a buffer to enter the trade. This way, the market can draw us in on its own momentum, and we can avoid some of the see-saws associated with moving average crossover systems.
1) Buffer buy : 2 pips plus the spread above the offending candle
2)Sl is buy : 1 pip below the offending candle .
3) Buffer
Okay..Entry and Stop Loss covered...for now...
Money management:
The old way of managing money...no matter what system you use, this can all go completely wrong for you. It doesn't have to be overly complicated, that's how I use it, it may look simple but I'm an uncomplicated person. I trade one currency, one trade at a time, basically looking at one time frame, you will see a zoomed out M1 chart. This makes managing my trades very simple and takes as much stress out of my day as possible. Now about how I manage my money (trading)…
1. I stick to my stops strictly .... They usually aren't that big in the first place, so even if they get hit, I won't get hurt. Never move your SL when the trade goes against you, ever.
2. When a trade goes my way, I take some profits off the table , which for me means closing half of the trade after reaching a risk to reward ratio of 1:1, moving the stop loss on the remaining units to BE and enjoying my free trade. look? Damn easy, right?
3. I will never risk more than one percent of my account on any trade ... ever.
4 . I usually only trade based on trends ...not a hard and fast rule, but usually a good guideline.
5. The fifth point is important ... Never overtrade, try to get revenge after a loss, or have to talk yourself into a trade that doesn't exist, take the obvious trade, and be happy that you are a disciplined trader.
Okay, now this is the restricted part of the thread, some rules will be used to keep the thread clean and safe...
