The Expert Advisor is based on the Serial MA indicator.

The indicator's calculation period starts from the intersection of its line with the price and continues to increase until the next intersection. After each crossover, the indicator calculation restarts with the minimum value.

In order to operate the Expert Advisor correctly, please save the compiled indicator file Serial MA.ex5 to the standard indicators folder in your terminal directory (your terminal directory\MQL5\Indicators).

The Expert Advisor allows enabling/disabling long/short positions, as well as reversing indicator signals to open a sell position instead of a buy position and vice versa. You can also set stop loss and profit points. If invalid StopLoss and TakeProfit values ​​are specified, the EA will adjust these values ​​to the minimum allowed symbol of the StopLoss level .

The Expert Advisor also adjusts the lot size if the specified value is incorrect. If the lot size is too large, the EA will adjust it to be able to open a position. If there are no funds to open a position even with the minimum lot size, the signal will be skipped.

This EA has 12 input parameters:

The strategy was tested with default settings using data from January 4, 2017, to February 9, 2018. Unfortunately, the EA does not show good results with default settings. So, test in reverse mode. The results in reverse mode are better. The Expert Advisor receives signals from dynamically calculated moving averages and therefore has no parameters for optimization. But you can think about what you want to add to your EA. For example, a trailing stop can be applied to open positions.
