The Hull Moving Average (HMA), developed by Alan Hull, is an extremely fast and smooth moving average. In fact, HMA almost completely eliminates lag while managing to improve smoothness.
This version makes the lag smaller and still keeps the hull average smooth, making it "faster". This is a zero-lag change from the Hull Moving Average.
