MAMA + FAMA - MetaTrader 5 Script | Forex Indicator Download - MT4/MT5 Resources
Usually the MESA Adaptive Moving Average (MAMA) is displayed as two values on the chart. This can sometimes be misleading because it often does not explain what the trader is really focusing on at that time.
The second value shown on the chart is what John Ehlers calls the "Following Adaptive Moving Average (FAMA)", an indicator that uses the combined value of MAMA and FAMA to evaluate market trends.
