The MPO (Midpoint Oscillator) indicator shows price movement but no trend component around the center point. It is displayed as two lines: the price movement line and the signal line. The center line (midpoint) is the zero scale of the oscillator.
The indicator has three configurable parameters:
Midpoint = 100.0 * (2.0 * Closing Price - Max - Min) / (Max - Min) Signal = MA(midpoint, smoothing period, smoothing method)
