The indicator XMA (Numerical Adaptive Moving Average) is the Numeric Adaptive Moving Average XMA. It uses digital filters to calculate moving aberrations.
If the new value has a step size (in points) higher than the previous value, it will only change the value of the moving average between bars.
It has four configurable parameters:
If Abs(MA-PrevMA) >= PriceX Steps:
XMA=MA
otherwise:
XMA = previous XMA
Where:
MA - MA (applicable price, period, method)
