What is less well known is that what is often referred to as Yurick Velocity is actually the difference between a Parabolic Weighted Moving Average and a Linear Weighted Moving Average.
This version extends the original version by allowing you to change the "power" of the calculated average used for speed calculations. The larger the strength parameter, the greater the weight (faster) of the current price setting. The smaller the force parameter, the slower the speed.
