QQE (Quantitative Qualitative Estimate) is usually performed using RSI (Relative Strength Index) as the "fundamental" indicator.
This version is using parabolic weighted velocity which can help identify trends. Adjust the calculation period according to your trading style: longer - for trend traders, shorter - for scalpers.
PS: This is an independent indicator. It doesn't require any other indicators to work properly.
