Phase Change Index for MHpee (originally posted here: Phase Change Index ) plus JMA Smoothing
The raw indicator is very useful but may lack some smoothing in some cases to avoid certain situations. To solve this problem, this version adds smoothing using the well known JMA (Jurik Moving Average), but it is added in 3 possible ways:
Comparison of 3 modes (in the order mentioned above) - It is obvious that the values may change significantly depending on the smoothing mode, so it is recommended to conduct some experiments before using this indicator in trading decisions
PS: To turn off smoothing completely, just set the smoothing period to less than or equal to 1
