Here we have a variant of Super Smoothing (originally posted here: Super Smoothing ) that uses its own past values as a criterion to filter out some false signals.
Since the indicator does not use slope as a criterion for color changes, a color change to gray can be used as a warning signal of a possible reversal, while a change to "active" color can be used as a signal for entry or re-entry
