Klinger_Oscillator - MetaTrader 5 Script - MT4/MT5 Resources
The Klinger Oscillator was developed by Stephen Klinger to identify long-term trends while maintaining sensitivity to detect short-term fluctuations, allowing traders to predict short-term reversals.
The indicator has three input parameters:
The signal line (13-period moving average) is used to make trading decisions where it intersects the oscillator line.
The Klinger oscillator also shows divergence, which is when price and volume do not confirm the direction of movement. When the indicator value moves upward while the price continues to fall, it is considered a bullish signal. Use additional tools for reversal confirmation, such as trend lines, moving averages, and other indicators.
