For some time now the Laguerre RSI has been going by a strange name: "Time Fractal Energy Adaptive Laguerre RSI". More or less it is an ATR (Average True Range) Adaptive Laguerre RSI.

It uses the ATR adaptation method of Laguerre RSI, but also uses a Laguerre filter to smooth the RSI values. Both are adaptive, so this indicator is a "fully adaptive" indicator. Smooth addition deviates from the commonly used formula (it was added to filter out some spurious signals)

You can use the color change of the signal. It does seem to be useful for short-term decision-making, though (because it's constantly adjusting itself, it tends to reflect short-term trend changes better than long-term changes)
