The Nen Star harmonic pattern indicator is one of the advanced harmonic patterns technical analysis , based on Fibonacci ratios . This indicator is used to identify potential price reversal areas.

The pattern consists of five bullet points, labeled X, A, B, C, and D and can appear in both bullish and bearish trends.

In the bullish case, the pattern forms a shape similar to the letter "M", while in the bearish case, its structure resembles the letter "W".

Structurally, the tender star harmonic pattern has an initial movement starting from point X to A , followed by a retracement to point B. The next step is to move C towards the target, which should cover between 113% and 141.4% of the AB leg.

Next, the price moves to point D , typically located between 127.2% and 200% of the AB leg. Point D is identified as the Potential Reversal Zone ( PRZ ), where traders can find entry or exit signals based on price action.

In the bullish Tender Star pattern , price initially moves from point X to A and then retraces toward point B. Then, the price enters an expansion phase, with fluctuations C accounting for 113% to 141.4% of the total AB leg.

Looking at the AUD/CAD pair from the 4-hour chart, the price reaches the PRZ zone at point D and signs of a potential trend reversal and the start of a new bullish trend are observed.

On the 1 hour chart of the CAD/CHF pair, the Bearish Tender Star pattern formed as price moved X to A and then backtracked to point B , before entering a temporary upward move to point C.

The wave typically extends to leg AB between 113% and 141.4%. After that, the price drops to point D , which is usually between 127.2% and 200% of the AB leg.
