The Ahrens Moving Average is an indicator developed by Richard D. Ahrens.
This indicator is described in the article "Building Better Moving Averages" in Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities magazine (October 2013).
It has a configurable parameter:
AHRMA = PrevAHRMA + ((MedianPrice-MedianMA)/Period)
MedianMA = (PrevAHRMA + AHRMA[Period]) / 2.0 Median price = (highest price + lowest price) / 2.0
