Bias scaled moving averages tend to be "fast" averages, but if you try to use changes in its slope as signals, you may get a lot of false signals when the market moves
It adds a filter to the deviation scaled average to reduce the number of signals with slope changes. Setting the filter size to 0 will turn off the filter
A common approach using average type indicators, additionally using filters. It is recommended to do some experimentation before using filter sizes and periods for trading decisions
