MA based on probability density function is a weighted moving average that uses probability density function to calculate weights. Essentially it is similar to many digital filters
It is designed to be as simple as possible and (in terms of display) is similar to the regular MACD built in. This is done to make it easy to compare, test and use this MACD. The signal line is also calculated in PdfMA, so this is the "all PdfMA" MACD indicator

Comparison of "regular" MACD (top), MACD using default values (middle), and MACD with variance set to 3 (bottom). As you can see increasing the variance makes it smoother and still faster than the regular MACD so some experimentation/playing with the variance can produce cleaner signals and less false signals
