The indicator is coded exactly as described by Vitali Apirine (including adaptation using high and low prices). But in order to make it easier to use it in the "classic way" (i.e.: with some kind of signal we can get from it), this version has additional filters that make the slope change color changes less frequently, making false signals less likely to occur. This is then encoded into a histogram version of the indicator, showing the status of the estimated trend
