Some may think that using smoothed rsi calculations before is the same as smoothing rsi values. As a vivid example, you can compare this version (when RSI is calculated after smoothing) to using (smoothed price) (originally posted here: AMA for RSI ). As you can see, they are very different in many ways. Also it shows why a "generalized" AMA is needed (now it can calculate smoothed values for any other value, not just price). However, in order to make it more usable (because changes in color, slope changes or some fixed level crossovers tend to be "less usable") Signal) This version adds floating levels to the indicator.
It can be used in the same way as any Ris(oma) indicator or any Rsi itself. Or you can use color change as signal
