Often we need to normalize certain values to a known range in order to use them in "oscillator" mode (when we can have a clear idea of the "trend"). One of the possible ways to achieve this is to use the zero mean method. This version of the nonlinear Kalman filter uses a zero-mean normalization to make the filter produce an oscillator
