EMA (Exponential Moving Average) is a well-known and widely used indicator. More information about it can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moving_average . It is used as a building block of TRIX (The Cubic Exponential Average (TRIX) indicator is an oscillator used to identify oversold and overbought markets, and it can also be used as a momentum indicator.

TRIX calculations are being done using the "Fast EMA" variant (originally posted here: Fast Exponential Moving Average ) instead of using the "regular" EMA. This makes it more responsive to market changes than the original TRIX indicator

You can use this version in the usual way - the change in color can be used as a signal
