The Vertical Horizontal Filter (VHF) shows whether there is a trend or flatness.
VHF was first described in 1991 by Adam White.
There are three ways to translate VHF:
In order to use this indicator, the following strategies will be applied: the introduction of the main sliding window , that is, the number of bars in which the highest and lowest values of the indicator VHF are searched, and the term working sliding window , that is, the number of bars in which the trend state will be identified.
- Main Sliding window size - the size of the main window
- Working Sliding window size - the size of the working window
- Money Management: Lot or Risk - Position Calculation Type: Risk Percent for Dynamic Lots with Fixed Lot Size
- Value of "Money Management" - lot size or risk percentage
- VHF: averaging period - the averaging period of a custom indicator
- Reverse - Signal reverse direction
- Print log - print all errors
- Magic number - unique EA identifier
