In this issue of "Reflex: A New Zero-Lag Indicator," author John Ehlers introduces a new averaging indicator he designed to reduce lag in the mind. According to the author, this new indicator can generate signals more timely than other indicators with calculated lag. This is a continuation of the historical article and is an extended TrendFlex indicator (different from the "reflective" indicator)
It is a momentum-like indicator and should be used as such. The default settings are quite long - as usual some experimentation with parameters should be done before using them for trading decisions
