Indicator Overview
The Pearson and Spearman correlation oscillators include three key regions:
- A value of 1: indicates a perfect positive correlation (two variables move in the same direction)
- A value of 0: signifies no linear relationship
- A value of -1: shows a perfect negative correlation (one goes up, the other goes down)
This tool displays overbought and oversold areas using two oscillating lines and employs price bars and signal arrows to identify entry and exit points .
Uptrend Conditions
According to the Ripple (XRP) price chart , the orange and blue oscillator lines oscillate between overbough t and oversold levels (+1 and -1) over a 30-minute period .
When the orange and blue lines cross above the -0.7 level , and a green arrow appears, it signals oversold condition and a buy entry signal , while the red cross indicates exit signal .

downtrend conditions
The image below shows the price chart of the GBP/USD currency pair . For a bearish trend first, the two oscillator lines cross the +0.7 range .
This situation indicates reduced buying pressure and increased selling strength in the market. Therefore, a green arrow represents a sell entry signal , while a gray cross represents an exit signal .

Conclusion
The MT4 Trading Assistant indicator simultaneously analyzes Pearson (linear) and Spearman (nonlinear) correlation .
It measures correlation in the numerical range -1 to +1 , is able to identify co-directional (positive correlation) or inverse (negative correlation) relationships between variables and provides appropriate entry and exit points .
