This is another variation of the stochastic indicator. Even if the price is trading in a single direction, the normal stochastic indicator will give buy and sell signals multiple times. This indicator gives fewer signals, i.e. it filters out false signals and gives a clear buy or sell alert on the screen.
Another point that I must disclose here is that I am not the original coder of this indicator. I changed some code and added alerts. Credit goes to the original coder.
