Entropy is a measure of the degree of disorder in a system. This entropy is calculated using the maximum entropy method .
If we try to evaluate it based on its indicative properties, without paying much attention to its code, we will find that it is an ordinary non-standardized oscillator and that all appropriate technical analysis methods can be applied. The indicator is presented in two variants - as a line (Entropy.mq5) and as a colored histogram (ColorEntropy.mq5).
The indicator was first implemented in MQL4 and published in the code base of mql4.com on July 5, 2008.
